Patch notes that change how you play

Dated changes that move layers, classes, cards, or revives. The developer has not published numbered patch versions.

Game Name. has not numbered these drops. The live season label used by guides is still Season 1. Dates below are the dates attached to the change in community patch notes or in a creator walkthrough that links this place. A page's edit date is not treated as a patch date.

3 October 2026

The Frozen Layer replaced the Radioactive Layer at 51 km to 61 km. Blinker was added and is listed from the Crystal Layer down. Fire's burn went from 6 seconds to 8. Toxic's effect went from 8 seconds to 16. A repeated mutation hit refreshes its timer instead of stacking. Spider Dungeon waves are listed as 10, 20, and 20.

1 October 2026

Engineer is described as added on this date. By 19 October 2026 its unlock badge showed 598 awards. Price and perks are still unpublished.

7 September 2026

A walkthrough of this date, linked to place 101906032112547, shows a circular lobby, a class hall, player profiles, a ranked mode, Boris's chest shop, and the Prospector class. Ranked notes in that video say leaving before par depth costs RP, and reaching par depth does not. The exact RP table is in the video, not in a written patch. Prospector's later level 4 and 5, dated in a 10 October 2026 comment on the class showcase, are in the class guide.

29 August 2026

Heart of the Earth was added at 1,000 km. Void enemies became 25% faster. Shocked players from Electric hits gained a 50% speed boost. The first two Robux revives were priced at 4 and 8 Robux. One Goblin Brute note from this date lists 500 HP, while the enemy table still says 300.

22 August 2026

Stone enemies drop an ore or gem on death, using the size table in the mutations guide. The Black Hole Gun can hurt them. Drill Defense is listed at +25 damage in these notes and +20 on the card table. Recruited mutated goblins pass their mutation on, except Stone.

2 August 2026

Gunsmith, six achievements, a Crafting Shack rework, new turrets, and the Vampire Mansion. Lucky Looter took a heavy nerf. Reaper and Goblin King were buffed. The 25 September letter board still places Lucky Looter in A after that nerf.

June 2026

Pirate, a daily quest streak that pays extra Cores for returning, pickaxe damage changes, rock HP changes, and boss variants. No day of the month is published, so this row has no exact date.

25 February 2026

Place 101906032112547 opened as a free co-op descent with the shared drill, named layers, dungeons, and an Academy that sells classes for Cores.

Jack-o'-Lantern has an unlock badge that the 19 October 2026 listing had updated about three days earlier, with 1,361 awards. No patch note here gives its price.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Drill to Earth's Core?

It is a free Roblox co-op descent by the Game Name. group. A party rides one drill through named layers, fights enemies, loots structures, and spends coins on upgrade cards. A normal run ends at the Glowing Core boss wall at 100 km.

Is Drill to Earth's Core the same game as Dig to Earth's CORE!?

No. Dig to Earth's CORE! is a different Roblox game by Slime Mine Studios. Codes such as UPDATEHYPE, INDIGO, and DIGGEM5000 belong to that game and do not redeem here.

What should a new player buy first?

Miner is described as one of two classes a new player can take for free on the first join. Both Tier 1 classes are listed at 100 Cores if you buy them later. After that, Witch is the highest-ranked 3,000 Core class on the 25 September 2026 board, and Lucky Looter at 10,000 Cores is the usual loot follow-up.

How many players share a server?

A public listing read on 19 October 2026 caps the server at 20 players. Party setup notes say a party holds 1 to 8. Older pages that say 30 players disagree with that listing.
